This course is ideal for anyone currently working in education who wishes to obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTLS) or simply improve their teaching abilities.To enroll in the level 5 DET, you do not need to have completed the level 3 or level 4 courses. If you meet the minimum requirements outlined in the FAQ below, you can enroll in the level 5 course right away. You can begin the course whenever you want.

Allows you to apply for QTLS (Qualified Teacher Learning and Skill) status. The badge of post-16 education and training.

HOURS OF STUDY

These can be distributed as you see fit over a 12-month period.

THE DURATION OF THE COURSE

Your hours can be spread out over a year. The course can be completed in as little as a few months or as long as a year. The majority of students will finish this course in 9-12 months.
